Livestock farmer - cattle farming (Agricultural Co-operative Neuzelle eG)

Livestock farmers specialising in cattle husbandry keep and care for breeding, dairy and beef cattle.

They operate automatic feeding and ventilation systems, store the feed and clean the stalls. In cattle breeding, they select suitable breeding animals, care for pregnant cows, monitor the birth, look after the dams and raise the calves and young cattle. They feed the animals according to their needs, monitor their health and ensure that fattening targets are met. If cattle are ill, they care for the sick animals according to medical instructions. They keep a close eye on how the herd is developing and document the breeding and fattening results.

On dairy farms, they milk the cows, usually using milking machines and equipment, and sell the milk to dairies.

For this apprenticeship at the Treppeln site, we are looking for committed and motivated young people (m/f/d)

- willingness to obtain a driving licence!
