The company Andres is a vegetable growing company that is mainly dedicated to the cultivation of young plants, but also to vegetable cultivation under glass.
We offer an apprenticeship as a gardener - vegetable growing (m/f/d) for the training year 2026.

In our company, various salad and vegetable young plants are sown and further cultivated until planting out. We also produce fresh vegetables such as lettuce and mixed lettuce, leaf and stem vegetables in our greenhouse. The right choice of variety and precise cultivation planning, rational and environmentally friendly crop management, heating, irrigation and appropriate plant protection and fertilisation measures are important for successful vegetable cultivation.

The associated technology is just as important as species-appropriate cultivation and care measures, soil cultivation and the preservation of soil fertility. Quality assurance during harvesting, storage, processing and packaging for marketing is also part of the training.

Prerequisites are a love of nature, an interest in working with plants, manual skills, an interest in technology, mental and physical fitness, a sense of teamwork, good manners, a willingness to learn, motivation and a willingness to work on Saturdays.

You can find out whether the job is right for you by completing an internship before the apprenticeship.

The vocational school is attended as a block course in Neustadt/Weinstraße.

Interested applicants should have at least a good secondary school leaving certificate.

The training company can be reached by public transport (bus).
