Pferdewirt/in - horse breeding (Deichhof Tespe GbR)

For the start of the new training year (01.08. or later), we are looking for a trainee to become a Pferdewirt/in (m/f/d) - specialising in breeding for our breeding, training and boarding stable (approx. 100 horses).

In addition to the basic training content of horse husbandry, breeding is fundamentally about the practice on breeding farms and breeding stations. This includes:

- Breeding methods, breeding planning, breeding hygiene
- Horse assessment, horse breeds
- Reproduction and rearing
- Presentation of horses at breeding shows and tests

Horse management for breeding is a 3-year recognised training occupation in agriculture.

And this is what you should bring:

- A good secondary school leaving certificate
- Experience and independent handling of horses of all ages
- Good and confident riding skills in all gaits

A driving licence would be an advantage, but is not a requirement. Accommodation can be provided.
The vocational school lessons take place in Lüneburg.
