Pferdewirt/in - horse husbandry and service (Deichhof Tespe GbR)

At the start of the new training year (1 August or later), we are looking for a trainee to become an equine manager (m/f/d) specialising in horse husbandry and service for our breeding and boarding stable (approx. 100 horses).

The main focus of the training is on customer and service-oriented behaviour in all areas of horse husbandry. Therefore, friendly and courteous interaction with customers should be a matter of course. This training is particularly important for boarding horse keeping and the associated horse-related services.

The areas of responsibility include

- Individual horse feeding, feed production and procurement
- Stable and pasture management
- Moving horses while riding, working on the lunge line
- Advising customers and customer-oriented facility management

Horse husbandry FR horse husbandry and service is a 3-year recognised training occupation in agriculture.

And this is what you should bring:

- A good secondary school leaving certificate
- Experience and independent handling of horses of all ages
- Good and confident riding skills in all gaits

A driving licence would be an advantage, but is not a requirement. Accommodation can be provided.
The vocational school lessons take place in Lüneburg.
