We are looking for a gardener - tree nursery (m/f/d) for training from 01.08.2026.

Professional information:

Gardeners specialising in tree nurseries cultivate deciduous and coniferous plants, including hedges and climbing plants, ornamental shrubs, fruit trees and roses. First, they lay out the production areas, select seeds and prepare planting substrates and soils. They grow young plants from seeds in planting beds or containers. They water, fertilise and prune the plants and combat pests and diseases. If the plants are not containerised, they use special machines to dig up trees and shrubs ready for sale and pack the root ball. Finally, they sell the trees or shrubs and advise their customers on the use and care of the respective species.

The minimum requirement is a secondary school leaving certificate.
