Change your world. By working in gardening and landscaping, you can actively influence environmental and climate protection. Trees and shrubs, path and terrace construction, machine and team work - all of this is part of the green profession of a landscape gardener.

Training and content

The training is dual, i.e. training in the company and at vocational school alternate. Landscape gardeners learn horticultural practice in the company and theory at vocational school. The lessons at the vocational college are tailored to everyday working life and what is learnt can be applied directly in day-to-day work. Lessons include, for example, botany, maths and technology. There are also inter-company courses where you learn how to use a chainsaw or how to lay natural stone. The apprenticeship lasts 2 or 3 years, depending on the school leaving certificate.

Pay

Apprenticeship pay for a 3-year apprenticeship contract

- in the 1st year of training: 1,140 euros
- in the 2nd year of training: 1,270 euros
- in the 3rd year of training: 1,270 euros. Year of training: 1,270 euros
- in the 3rd year of training: 1,370 euros

Training allowance for a 2-year training contract

- in the 1st year of training: 1,140 euros
- in the 2nd year of training: 1,370 euros
