What you will learn with us

- You will set up construction sites with your team and help to secure and prepare the work areas.
- You will provide support with earthworks and groundwork, e.g.
- You will learn how to lay out paths, squares, borders, terraces and steps (e.g. paving and slab work, setting kerbstones).
- You will be involved in drainage and pipe work (e.g. drainage, gutters, slopes). Drainage, gutters, manholes, simple pipe trenches - depending on the construction site).
- You plant and maintain greenery: planting perennials, shrubs, hedges and trees, laying turf or sowing grass, preparing planting areas or greening roofs.
- You will carry out maintenance work on existing plants: pruning, weed removal, irrigation, fertilisation and simple maintenance.
- You will work (under supervision) with tools, machines and equipment - from hand tools to vibratory plates, wheel loaders or excavators - and learn how to use them safely. We work with state-of-the-art technology!
- You will help with surveying/staking out and working according to plan (e.g. heights, gradients, alignments) - also with modern construction site technology such as construction lasers or drones for site surveying.
- You will work in an experienced construction site team, every 4 months you will change your team to get to know all areas.
- With us you can choose from many areas, e.g. sports field construction, playground construction, greenkeeping, outdoor facilities, the construction of green roofs and outdoor facilities as well as high-quality private gardens and much more.
- Of course you will also learn how to work with plants - of all sizes: From tiny seeds to rolled turf, perennials and small shrubs to full-grown trees, everything is included in gardening and landscaping.
