Farmer (Faber Martin)

We are looking for trainees for our agricultural business (cattle farming) to become an animal farmer or farmer (m/f/d) for the second and third year of training.

About the job profiles:

Animal farmers specialising in cattle farming produce and care for breeding and slaughter cattle as well as dairy cattle on farms. They work towards the production goals of cattle farming: Meat quality and milk yield. They also market the animals and their products.
Animal managers specialising in cattle farming mainly work in cattle breeding farms, animal husbandry or agricultural businesses with cattle rearing, cattle fattening or dairy cattle farming. However, they are also employed in insemination centres or teaching, testing and research institutes. They also work for professional or interest organisations, e.g. cattle breeding associations.

Farmers produce agricultural and livestock products of marketable quality. They also handle business transactions on farms. Farmers mainly work on their own farm or on large agricultural holdings. Farmers are also employed in vegetable and fruit growing or offer holidays on their own farm, for example. They also work for agricultural research institutes or professional or interest organisations, such as farmers' associations.

We aim to offer long-term employment and therefore a job after the apprenticeship.
