Gardener (m/f/d) - perennial nursery

Tasks and activities:
Gardeners specialising in perennial nursery cultivate and grow garden flowers such as irises and lilies, grasses and ferns as well as aquatic plants. They take into account the location requirements, growth characteristics and natural plant communities of perennials when propagating and cultivating them.
They work the soil using equipment and machines, weed, take cuttings and fertilise the plants. They grow the young perennials outdoors or in the greenhouse, prepare them for sale and market them. They also advise customers on the most suitable location for their plants.

The vocational school is located in Radolfzell.

The Hofstetter Mühle is a family-run and owner-managed company. The Egenolf family has been running the nursery in Heiligenberg on Lake Constance since 1982. 2 master gardeners and a trainer are responsible for the training programme.

Our well-coordinated team of many people work hard to cultivate quality plants and garden dreams on a good 5 hectares of land. We are happy to provide our customers with useful knowledge about the variety of garden plants and stone figures and to inform them about the professional use and care of the plants.

From March 2025, we offer taster internships for entry-level qualification of at least 1 week.
