Gardener - Nursery (Harald Bosman Nurseries)

We are looking for two trainees (m/f/d) for the training occupation of gardener (m/f/d) - nursery (consulting and sales) for the training year 2026.

As a plant consultant (m/f/d) you not only work with plants, but also in consulting and sales. We are a tree nursery specialising in wholesale. We serve regional and national customers from the gardening and landscaping sector, as well as authorities and local authorities.

In addition, we also offer private sales for everyone, which is one of the focal points of the
training programme for the applicant (m/f/d). In addition to horticultural training in the largest range of plants in the Bergisches Land region, customer contact, advice and customer care, as well as the design of the sales areas are taught.

Personal requirements therefore include not only creativity and enjoyment in dealing with plants. It is equally important, for example, that you are sociable, a team player, friendly and open-minded.
How to conduct a good customer conversation is taught both on site and in inter-company training courses and at vocational school.
The nationally regulated training programme lasts 3 years and takes place at our company headquarters in Wermelskirchen. The
vocational school is in Cologne.

The applicant (m/f/d) should have:

- Enjoy working with plants
- Enjoy physical work
- An understanding of biology and a love of nature
- An interest in modern technology, craftsmanship and business processes
- Customer orientation and a willingness to communicate with customers are essential
- If you are creative and full of ideas, you can let off steam when planning and designing with plants.
- The ability to work in a team, responsibly and independently complement our expectations
- A good qualified secondary school leaving certificate, preferably a secondary school leaving certificate or the Abitur.
- You should have a good command of written and spoken German (due to school attendance and report booklet management).
