- Designing and laying out parks and gardens, playgrounds and terraces
- Paving paths and squares
- Building walls, steps, fences, sports and play equipment
- Working with small and earth-moving machinery
- Professional planting and care of lawns, trees, perennials, Flowers
- Storage, assessment and use of soils and substrates

The apprenticeship lasts 3 years and is carried out as part of a dual training programme.
The theoretical training takes place at the Julius-Wegeler-Schule, Berufsbildende Schule Gewerbe und Hauswirtschaft/Soziales in Koblenz as well as with the help of module instruction in Bad Kreuznach.
