Gardener - gardening and landscaping (Ottmar Eltis)
Offer description
Working in the fresh air? That's what awaits you every day during your training as a landscape gardener. Whether in gardening, landscaping or sports field construction: as an apprentice, you will be deployed in a wide variety of places. From the very first day of your training as a gardener specialising in gardening and landscaping - the full name of your specialisation - you will be able to really get stuck in.
Here you will learn how to lay out beds, maintain shrubs or create ponds, basins and watercourses. As a landscape gardener, you will be a sought-after specialist, as you will also learn how to build walls and steps, pave paths and squares and erect fences during your varied training.
Your training as a landscape gardener is a dual programme. This means that you not only spend a lot of time outdoors with your training company, but also at vocational school. There you will acquire theoretical know-how for your profession - from topics such as occupational safety and environmental protection to biology and botany to the question of how a company is organised in the first place. There are also inter-company training courses where prospective landscape gardeners learn, for example, how to use a chainsaw, how to operate an excavator or how to process natural stone.
We are happy to offer an internship beforehand so that you can gain an insight into our company and the profession.
