Gardener - Ornamental horticulture (Pflanzenhof Corbelin GbR)

Corbelin Pflanzenhof was founded in 2008 by Hermann Corbelin. A plant farm with a lot of experience and good employees.
We have over 2,000 m² of greenhouse space, where a wide range of plants are presented all year round, from spring flowers to potted plants. The speciality of our company is the 12,000 m² outdoor area. Here, the range includes
many popular as well as unusual plants from ground cover to large trees 5 metres high.

We are looking for a trainee gardener - ornamental plant cultivation (m/f/d)

Gardeners specialising in ornamental plant cultivation propagate and cultivate cut flowers, bedding, potted, balcony and green plants in greenhouses and also outdoors in summer. They water, fertilise and prune the plants and use targeted cultivation measures to ensure that the plants reach the required size, flower on time and are therefore ready for sale. They use systems with computer-controlled irrigation and fertilisation, ventilation, lighting and shading. If they sell plants directly to end consumers, they also advise them on the selection and care of plants appropriate to their location.

Requirements:

- You are skilful (e.g. when planting perennials, shrubs, flowers and trees)
- You have a sense of responsibility and care (e.g. when using plant protection products).(e.g. when using pesticides and fertilisers, monitoring
temperature, lighting and irrigation in greenhouses)
- You are prudent and have good hand-eye coordination (e.g. when driving machines and vehicles)
- You are customer-friendly (e.g. when advising customers, working in the greenhouse).

Gardeners specialising in ornamental plant cultivation primarily work at:

- in greenhouses
- in cultivation rooms
