Winemakers plant and tend vines, harvest the grapes, process them into wine, sparkling wine or grape juice
and market the beverages. All viticultural work is done by hand and with machines.

Winemaker is a 3-year recognised dual apprenticeship in agriculture.

- Written and spoken German
- Physical fitness
- Understanding of technology, machines and equipment
