Herd Manager (m/f/d)

Our mixed farm in the district of Spree-Neiße, near Cottbus, with 35 employees and trainees is filling a new Herd Manager position with immediate effect. As part of the team, you will be responsible for all tasks relating to our 850 dairy cows and their offspring.

Main tasks:

- All herd management tasks relating to cows and offspring
- Fertility management and insemination
- Hoof care and treatment of acute lameness
- Data management, documentation and evaluation

Your profile:

- Completed studies or completed vocational training in the agricultural sector
- Experience and knowledge in agricultural practice
- Leadership skills
- Good self-organisation, careful and consistent way of working
- Enjoy working with animals
- Ability to work in a team
