Tree nursery assistant (m/f/d)

The position:
For our client, a family-run and innovative company in the plant and tree nursery industry, we are looking for nursery assistants (m/f/d) in Edewecht. In one of the largest tree nurseries in Europe, you will provide support in a wide range of activities related to plants, shipping and care - mainly in the fresh air.

Your tasks as a nursery assistant (m/f/d):
- Packing plants for dispatch: You will carefully prepare smaller plants, pack them professionally and ensure that they are ready for onward transport.

- Working in the dispatch area in Edewecht: With your support, you will ensure a smooth process in the compilation and processing of plant deliveries.

- Property and area maintenance: You will carry out simple maintenance tasks such as weeding and sweeping and thus contribute to a tidy and well-kept working environment.

- Light plant care: Following instructions, you will water plants, carry out simple pruning and assist with daily care.

- Planting and repotting plants: You will help with planting, repotting and other tasks at the tree nursery in Edewecht.

Your profile:
- Enjoy working outdoors: You enjoy working in the fresh air and feel comfortable in a natural environment.

- Some experience in gardening or nursery work (an advantage): Ideally, you will have basic knowledge - however, lateral entry is possible at any time.

- Flexibility and commitment: you are open to different activities within the tree nursery and reliably lend a hand.

- Ability to work in a team and reliability: you work responsibly with colleagues and honour agreements.

- Mobility: Your own vehicle is required if you live outside of Edewecht.
