The green space maintenance department has a good 140 employees who are committed to maintaining around 440 hectares of green spaces.
This includes sophisticated parks, playgrounds, kindergartens, school playgrounds, sports fields and classic roadside greenery, as well as ensuring the road safety of around 45,000 city trees. The tasks are carried out all year round by area-specific maintenance groups or specialised working groups in the areas of tree care, landscaping and sports field maintenance.

Your important contribution

- You will carry out tree care work on the approx. 45,000 trees in the city of Heilbronn, such as crown care work, crown protection and tree felling.
- You will carry out the work in a modern and experienced team with cherry pickers up to 30 m working height and using rope climbing technology.
- Carry out winter maintenance (clearing and gritting work), including outside normal working hours.

What you should bring

- You have completed vocational training as a gardener or forester or have a qualification as a tree care specialist.
- You have the AS Tree I and II and Rope Climbing Technique A and B qualifications or are willing to acquire them and are experienced in operating aerial work platforms and handling chainsaws safely and carefully.
- Ideally, you already have experience in tree care.
- You work independently and reliably in compliance with occupational health and safety, accident prevention regulations and road traffic safety and are physically fit and resilient.
- You have at least a class B driving licence, ideally even a class C1E.
- You are communicative, a team player and customer-oriented.
