We are looking for a committed kitchen manager for our team as soon as possible.

Rothenfels Castle is a non-profit educational institution with a youth hostel and a conference centre with approx. 43 employees.
With our approx. 42,000 overnight stays per year and our various guests, we are a varied educational institution in the middle of the Spessart.

Your area of responsibility includes:
- Preparing and serving meals for the guests of the castle
- Creating menus with regional and seasonal products in changing weekly menus
- Instructing, guiding and controlling the employees in the kitchen area.
- Organisation of duty and holiday schedules with the inclusion of the castle's work processes
- Implementation of HACCP guidelines as well as logging and archiving of documents.
- Independent ordering and receipt of food and kitchen supplies, with checking of delivery notes/invoices for factual and arithmetical correctness.
- Maintaining contact with our guests and ensuring that their needs are met (special requests, catering figures, feedback, etc.)
- Preparing meal calculations and cost control.
- Responsibility for stock keeping and management.
- Conducting regular service meetings for the kitchen staff
