The Bavarian State Spa Bad Brückenau is a commercial enterprise of the Free State of Bavaria. The administration of the Bavarian State Spa Bad Brückenau is called "Staatliche Kurverwaltung Bad Brückenau". As a service company under the supervision of the Bavarian State Ministry of Finance and Home Affairs, the Bavarian State Spa Bad Brückenau assumes the core tasks of the spa business, in particular the collection of the spa tax, the offering of an event programme in cooperation with private event organisers, the operation and maintenance of the spa facilities with 40 hectares of castle park, the management of the medicinal springs, as well as their supply to private companies and the real estate management of the extensive, historical properties of the Free State of Bavaria.

The scope of duties:

We offer an exceptional job in a unique historical setting. The castle park in the spa conservation area of the state spa Bad Brückenau must be maintained to a high standard of quality all year round. You can expect a varied job in the team of the Bavarian State Spa Bad Brückenau. Your tasks will include practical work in the gardening team. The varied area of responsibility includes the demanding maintenance of the historic spa facilities. Events also require you to work outside of regular working hours

Your main tasks:

- Care and maintenance of the park grounds and planting of trees and shrubs
- Wood and tree care including pruning work (accurate pruning of hedges and topiary)
- Planting, mowing and maintenance work on the entire grounds of the palace park (e.g. care and maintenance of the water-spreading paths).Maintenance of the water-bound paths, support with alternate planting)
- Operation and maintenance of machines and equipment (e.g. small tractors, brush cutters, brush cutters, mowers) Small tractors, brush cutters, various lawnmowers, chainsaws, flame-cutting equipment and tillers)
- Watering and winter services as well as special events

Your profile:

- Completed vocational training as a gardener in gardening and landscaping, alternatively from another field such as agriculture or forestry
- Experience in park maintenance
- Safe handling of common equipment and machines in the maintenance process
- Class B driving licence, desirable class C1 driving licence
- Possession of chainsaw licence (AS-Tree 1)
- Unrestricted physical fitness, in particular for minor work at height
- Flexibility, reliability, ability to work in a team
- Independent and autonomous working style, sense of responsibility
- Friendly demeanour towards guests and external service providers
- Willingness to work at weekends and on public holidays

- permanent employment in accordance with the collective agreement for the public service Länder (TV-L). Depending on the fulfilment of the personal and collective agreement requirements, you will be graded according to the TV-L pay scale. Pay scale of the TV-L up to pay group E 5 TV-L
