We are a second-generation family business based in Wallhausen. We hatch day-old turkey poults here every week, which we supply to turkey farms throughout Germany.

Our part-time employees' tasks include a wide range of activities relating to the hatching eggs and the hatched poults. For example, they are trained to "shear" the hatching eggs, i.e. the hatching eggs are x-rayed with the help of a lamp after incubation. On hatching day, the chicks are taken out of the machines, counted and sorted. The individual stations are planned with alternating employees. Cleaning and disinfection activities are also included. All activities are carried out standing up or on the move.

You should be flexible in terms of time, as we plan differently from week to week. The working hours are known two weeks in advance and sometimes start at 05:30 or 06:30 in the morning. Hatching days can last until approx. 15:00 in the afternoon, on the other days it goes until approx. 11:30.

You do not need any previous knowledge except sufficient knowledge of German for good communication

Private poultry keeping is excluded in this job for reasons of hygiene and the risk of disease entry.

You will receive a Christmas bonus, payment into the VL, as well as a company supplementary health insurance. Work clothes are provided and cleaned, full catering on hatching days and free drinks on all days.
