- You will be involved in planning the implementation of landscaping and land maintenance work, as well as planning the deployment of personnel and machinery.
- You will be involved in the maintenance, repair and new construction of paths and tracks, car parks and parking areas and other cultural facilities, especially on site training areas.
- You will independently and autonomously carry out landscape gardening and maintenance work on the properties of the Zweibrücken military training centre, for example, maintenance of vegetation and succession control on training grounds, taking into account the valuable ecological resources, border maintenance, pruning, lawn maintenance, sports field maintenance, tree felling and follow-up work, ditch maintenance, cleaning of traffic areas, building and cellar entrances as well as waste and container storage areas, emptying waste bins.
- You will operate, guide and maintain motorised small equipment, including minor repair work (e.g. brush cutters; hedge trimmers; leaf blowers).
- You will operate large equipment, gardening and landscaping machinery (e.g. Unimog; lorries; tractors, also as combinations).
- You will take part in winter service (clearing and gritting) in connection with on-call duty.
- Participation in regular and further training and further education is required.

Qualification requirements:

WHAT COUNTS FOR US

- You have completed vocational training as a gardener (m/f/d) - specialising in horticulture and landscaping or comparable.
- You are in good health and physically resilient, as the job requires you to:

- Work in unfavourable positions
- Work under the influence of the weather (heat; cold; wet)
- Work in noisy conditions
- Lift heavy loads of up to 30 kg several times a day.

- You have a class B, CE driving licence and a Bundeswehr driving licence B, CE or are willing to acquire one. You agree to drive a service vehicle.
- You are committed to the free democratic basic order within the meaning of the German Basic Law through your entire behaviour.
- You agree to take part in a medical examination for recruitment.

- You have several years of relevant professional experience.
