Job description:

- You will manage, organise and supervise the agricultural and horticultural site management and the mobility of the shooting safety personnel in the area of responsibility of the Oberlausitz military training area with currently approx. 27 employees, taking into account seasonal and user-related priorities. This also includes the economic planning and demand-oriented organisation of the provision of consumables, procurement services and other procurement requirements in the area of responsibility.
- You will manage and organise street cleaning and winter services in the area of responsibility and help to draw up the winter service plan for the BwDLZ Dresden.
- You will manage and organise tree maintenance in the area of responsibility and ensure the mobility of the firefighters.
- You will manage the personnel assigned to you in compliance with collective bargaining and working time laws and regulations and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
- You will work closely with the military user and the other sub-areas of the BwDLZ Dresden and ensure the implementation of nature conservation regulations.
- Participation in regular and advanced training and further education is a prerequisite.
- Willingness to travel on business, if necessary for several days/several weeks. the position is to be filled on 1 September 2026.

- You can expect an attractive salary based on the collective agreement for the public sector (TVöD). You will be placed in pay group E9A of the collective agreement for the public service (TVöD).
- If the requirements are met, a staff recruitment bonus of up to 949 euros may be paid.
- You will work full-time or part-time. You will be required to carry out your duties on site.
- You will have the opportunity to participate in sports and health programmes during working hours within a defined framework.
- You will be entitled to 30 days' leave per year.
- Once the new Bundeswehr base in Straßgräbchen/Bernsdorf has been commissioned, your post will change to this base and your place of work will change accordingly.

Qualification requirements:

WHAT COUNTS FOR US

- You have completed master craftsman training in horticulture, agriculture or forestry.
- You have very good knowledge in the areas of landscape management, landscape ecology, nature conservation, agricultural engineering and business management.
- You can provide evidence of a current level Ü2 safety check or are willing to take part in an extended safety check.
- You have a high level of teamwork, assertiveness and negotiating skills.
- You have the ability to manage employees.
- You already have good knowledge and skills in using the standard MS Office software.
- You have knowledge of SASPF, but at the very least you are willing to familiarise yourself with SASPF.
- You have a class B driving licence.
- You have a Bundeswehr B driving licence or are willing and in good health to obtain one. You agree to drive a service vehicle.
- You are in good health and able to move over uneven terrain, even over several kilometres.
- You are committed to the free democratic basic order as defined by the Basic Law through your entire conduct.
- You agree to take part in a medical recruitment examination.
