Job description
Your tasks
- Carrying out timber harvesting (including tree felling and cutting/laying of short/long timber with special forestry tractors and skidders)
- Renewal and establishment of forest stands
- Maintenance and protection of forest stands and biotopes, including Creation of forest fire protection strips
- Construction and maintenance of hunting facilities and forest furniture
- Maintenance of forest roads
- Practical instruction of trainees in the forestry sector
Your profile
- Completed training as a forest manager and professional experience in forestry, especially in manual timber harvesting, are required
- Driving licences for classes BE, T are required; C1E desirable
- Experience in driving special machines and various attachments is advantageous
- Willingness to occasionally work on weekends
