We are looking for reinforcement for our service team at the municipal daycare centre "Kita Traumzauberbaum" in the Leipziger Straße district as soon as possible as part of a sickness cover.

The Eigenbetrieb Kommunale Kindertageseinrichtungen Magdeburg was founded on 1 January 2018 and is responsible for 7 daycare centres and 2 after-school care centres in the state capital of Magdeburg.

Sophisticated educational concepts are implemented in the municipal daycare centres. Based on the educational programme "Bildung: elementar - Bildung von Anfang an", self-determination, participation, trust and responsibility are put into practice.

We see child protection as our central concern and our greatest obligation. Our daycare centres are protected spaces for children in which a culture of mindfulness and respectful interaction is cultivated. Children's rights form the basis of educational practice. All of this is underpinned by detailed, centre-specific child protection concepts.

Your tasks:

- Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness in all areas of the centre
- Preparing the food supply for the individual groups of children
- Proper use and application of care and cleaning products
- Cleaning the daycare centre (kitchen, sanitary facilities, ancillary rooms and office) according to the cleaning plan

External requirements

- Commitment, reliability and ability to work under pressure
- Motivation and willingness to work, good manners
- Thoroughness, service-orientation
- Ideally practical experience in the service sector

Professional requirements

- Training or experience in building cleaning and/or in the service sector
- Knowledge of maintenance and building cleaning is desirable
- Knowledge of housekeeping and hygiene regulations
