Annual intern (m/f/d) in the kitchen and housekeeping departments

Kulmbach Hospital is a progressive and successfully managed municipal hospital of care level II with 540 beds and 14 specialist departments, as well as 11 specialised centres and 5 institutes.

The medical care centres associated with the hospital complement the range of services. The Stadtsteinach Specialist Clinic with 87 beds and specialist departments for geriatric and orthopaedic rehabilitation as well as internal medicine with an acute geriatric treatment unit also belongs to the Kulmbach Hospital Association.

The Kulmbach Clinic is an academic teaching hospital of Jena University Hospital and a BeLA teaching hospital of Erlangen University Hospital.

The clinic's kitchen produces around 900 meals a day and includes full and dietary meals, cold food, the bakery and the scullery. Housekeeping includes in-house cleaning, textile care, the bed centre and the collection and delivery service.

Internships can start on 01.08.2026 or 01.09.2026.

Your area of responsibility:

- Food preparation and distribution
- Hygienic cleaning and final disinfection
- Bed preparation and laundry distribution
- Handing over rooms or flats to employees (m/f/d)
- Helping to instruct trainees in housekeeping

Your profile:

- Attendance at a specialised academy for nutrition and supply management with successful completion of the first stage of training
- Enjoy working independently and on your own responsibility
- Reliable and careful way of working as well as ability to work in a team
