This is what your day-to-day work will look like:

- By regularly disinfecting, cleaning and tidying up, you will keep the respective work areas, such as residents' rooms and the kitchen/living room, clean and tidy.
- To ensure that our 42 residents feel comfortable, you create a harmonious living atmosphere.
- You determine the laundry needs of the residents and control the laundry soiling in the living area.
- You wash, dry, iron and reorganise the laundry (if necessary together with the resident, resource conservation). Minor repair work is also no problem for you.
- Preparing and following up meals, taking into account the personal wishes and eating habits of our residents as well as medical requirements and operational standards, is part of your everyday work.

This is what we are looking for from you:

- Ideally, but not a must: You have completed vocational training as a housekeeper (f/m/d) or have comparable training or professional experience in the area of responsibility described.
- You are also welcome as a career changer if you have a passion for working in housekeeping.
- You are characterised by your ability and willingness to treat people with disabilities with respect and a good sense of their needs.
- You enjoy working in a team and have the ability and willingness to communicate and cooperate with relatives, colleagues and superiors.
- You can organise and plan your work sensibly.
- You are trustworthy, resilient and identify with the mission statement of Diakonie der EKD.
