for the state-recognised Öko-Modellregion Landkreis Fürstenfeldbruck und Stadt München West
in full-time or also 2 part-time employees. The position is initially limited to three years.

The office is located in the district of Fürstenfeldbruck.

Eco-model regions are an important component of the state programme BioRegio 2030, which aims to increase the proportion of organically farmed land in Bavaria to 30% by 2030. The focus of the organic model regions is, among other things, the establishment and expansion of regional organic value chains as well as raising awareness for a higher appreciation of local organic food based on the region's application concept.

The organic model region comprises the district of Fürstenfeldbruck and the western districts of the state capital Munich (Pasing-Obermenzing, Aubing-Lochhausen-Langwied, Allach-Untermenzing, Laim and Neuhausen-Nymphenburg).

YOUR TASKS

- Independent implementation of the projects defined in the application for the Eco Model Region District of Fürstenfeldbruck and City of Munich West
- Further development of the concept of the Eco Model Region
- Networking, technical and organisational support of the stakeholders along the value chain (agriculture, processing, marketing, gastronomy, etc.) in the project area
- Support of the project team
- Development of the concept of the Eco Model Region.support and guidance of regional stakeholders in the development and expansion of regional organic value chains
- Raising awareness of regional organic food
- Organisation and implementation of events and working groups
- Networking in the region and cooperation with the various interest groups from companies and administrations to institutions, organisations and politics
- Support and implementation of the funding programme
- Press and public relations work
- Contact person for the Bavarian State Institute for Agriculture (LfL), the Bavarian Administration for Rural Development (BZA) and the Office for Rural Development Upper Bavaria (ALE) on issues relating to the eco-model region and regular exchange on the status of activities and projects
- Cooperation and coordination with those responsible at the Fürstenfeldbruck District Office and the City of Munich

YOUR PROFILE

- Completed university or university of applied sciences degree (agricultural sciences, nutritional sciences, Agriculture or comparable disciplines related to the job profile) or vocational training and several years of professional experience in the agricultural or food sector
- Knowledge / professional experience in the field of organic farming and / or the food industry
- Sound understanding of the interrelationships between agriculture, processing and marketing (value chains)
- Experience in process support, Project management and concept development
- Experience in public relations and awareness-raising
- Experience in the implementation of funding programmes is an advantage
- Networking and cooperation skills as well as very good communication skills
- Ability to actively approach stakeholders and inspire them for organic farming and organic food
- Good IT skills
- Willingness to travel on business with your own car (against reimbursement of costs) and to work flexible hours with field services
- Independent way of working
