As part of the EUROPLANT group of companies, EUROPLANT Innovation GmbH & Co. KG is all about the potato. We focus on breeding new potato varieties and producing the corresponding precursor and basic planting material on our farms. We are thus continuing a tradition that goes back over 100 years.
The BNA Group currently has over 150 employees, holds the rights to over 90 varieties and cultivates over 5,000 hectares in Germany, Poland and the USA. Over 700 ha of planting material is produced, which is used by our sister company EUROPLANT in further propagation and ultimately distributed in Germany and over 70 other countries.

We are currently looking for a

full-time farmer (m/f/d)/field trial technician (m/f/d)/ATA (m/f/d) to join our team at the breeding station in Kaltenberg (Langquaid).

Your tasks

After successful familiarisation, your tasks will be:

- Technical assurance of the field trials
- Carrying out practical, arable activities in the breeding garden, as well as greenhouse work
- Assisting in the preparation and processing of the trials

What you should bring with you

- Completed vocational training as a farmer, LTA/ATA in agriculture or comparable agricultural training (certificate of competence in plant protection or willingness to qualify is an advantage)
- Practical experience in agriculture and at best experience in potato cultivation
- Interest in agricultural field trials and enjoy working in the field
- Since the operation and maintenance of our machinery is also part of your tasks, good knowledge of agricultural machinery is an advantage
- Independence, reliability and flexibility
- Ability to work under pressure and willingness to react flexibly to seasonal work peaks
- Driving licence class B/BE and T (forklift driving licence an advantage)
