We are an archaeological specialist company based in Cottbus that is recognised and approved by the heritage authorities.
We cover all archaeological services in the run-up to and during a construction project. Our main field of activity is archaeological construction supervision in the context of inner-local sewer and road construction measures. In addition, we carry out preparatory construction investigations as well as prospections and historical building investigations.

We are looking for an

excavation assistant (m/f/d), who is to be further developed into an excavation assistant (m/f/d),

to work on archaeological excavations and construction supervision as soon as possible.

Tasks:

- Uncovering archaeological features under the guidance of the leading excavation personnel
- Assisting with the documentation of features
- Learning excavation techniques (technical, surveying work) and the basics of identifying and processing archaeological features

As a prerequisite for the job, you need little to no previous knowledge, as you will receive extensive training. You should have the ability to work in a team, interest and good receptiveness. If you prove yourself in the position of excavation assistant (m/f/d), it is possible in consultation and by mutual agreement to develop further within the company to become an excavation technician (m/f/d), with a corresponding salary.

However, you should have a class B driving licence and a basic willingness to carry out assembly work.
