The Grüne Klint is an arable and forage farm with suckler cow husbandry and finishing fattening and is managed organically according to the BIOLAND standard.

The agricultural area is currently approx. 270 ha (partly rounded off, cereals, forage, permanent grassland, standing pastures). The farm specialises in suckler cow husbandry (German Angus). The herd currently consists of 100 suckler cows, but is to be further expanded. The final fattening of the weaners takes place on the farm (approx. 120). The farm specialises in high-quality products and is established as a model farm. Verticalisation with its own marketing chain is taking place in stages.

We are looking for committed employees to gradually take over the operational management and participate in the work processes of our farm. We can offer you full-time, part-time or hourly employment. We are happy to work according to your wishes and possibilities.

We aim to further develop our farm in an ecological sense. Animal welfare, an exceptional level of quality and an outstandingly positive public image as well as sustainability are very important to us.

Your tasks:

In the area of arable farming:

- Documentation of field work, yields, storage
- Procurement and documentation of seeds, fertiliser and other inputs
- Organisation and implementation of all work in arable farming: sowing, maintenance, fertilisation and harvesting

In the area of animal husbandry:

- Monitoring animal hygiene and animal husbandry rules
- General stable work, birth control, hoof care, animal handling/loading/transport

In the area of grassland management:

- Forage harvesting
- All hay and silage harvesting work
- Grassland maintenance
- Pasture maintenance with fence construction and maintenance

Other:

- Preparation and supervision of organic inspection
- Care and maintenance of machinery and small equipment, ordering of spare parts, purchasing of operating materials

This is what we are looking for:

- Experience in farming with cattle farming and a completed agricultural apprenticeship, preferably also career starters
- The willingness to tackle and a conscientious/thorough work attitude
- Enthusiasm for organic farming
- High affinity for the latest technical developments (Smart Farming)
- Driving licence B&T
