The Koblenz Directorate is looking for the Federal Forestry Division at the Oberaula location at the earliest possible date
Forester for the region Schwalm-Eder-Kreis and Hersfeld-Rotenburg (f/m/d)

The position is open-ended.
What are your main responsibilities?
Standard forestry tasks in the areas of stand establishment, stand maintenance, timber harvesting, hunting and other operational work
- Forest regeneration and maintenance, silviculture
- Forest protection/nature conservation and landscape management, biotope management
- Timber harvesting
- General operational work and hunting
- Support in the context of public relations work
- Traffic safety measures
What do we expect?
Qualification:
- Completed vocational training as a forester
Specialist competences:
- Occupational health and safety in forestry work
- Federal and Hessian state forest law
- Federal and Hessian statenature conservationlaw
- PEFC certificationguideline
- Knowledge in dealing with mapmaterial
- Certificate of competence in plant protection
- Basic PC knowledge
Other requirements:
- Physical/health suitability
- Good, careful and reliable way of working
- Organisational skills
- Good comprehension skills
- Ability to work independently, goal-orientated and confidently even with an increased workload
- Customer/addresseeorientated behaviour
- Ability to act in a team-oriented manner, ability to take criticism

According to Section 3 (3) sentence 4 of the TV-Wald-Bund (regarding Section 44 of the TVöD), it should be noted that a location other than the home can also be agreed in the employment contract with regard to the granting of a distance allowance. For welfare reasons, too, employees are therefore expected to be prepared to move their place of residence close to their place of work
