- You will be responsible for carrying out landscape maintenance work, e.g. Border maintenance, pruning, lawn maintenance, cleaning of traffic areas, ditch maintenance, cleaning of building and cellar entrances as well as rubbish and container storage areas, emptying rubbish bins, sports field maintenance, cooperation in tree felling and follow-up work, etc., as well as operating garden and landscape trees. as well as operating gardening and landscaping machinery (single-axle tractors, ride-on mowers, small tractors).
- You will operate, guide and maintain small motorised equipment (including brush cutters, hedge trimmers, leaf blowers) and be responsible for minor repairs.
- You will keep trip documentation, work records and allowance sheets.
- You will work in winter maintenance. The performance of this task is associated with on-call duty or standby duty.
- Participation in training and further education is required.
- The position is to be filled on 01.08.2026.

- You will be graded up to pay group E 3 of the collective agreement for the public service (TVöD).
- The activities are to be carried out on site at the office. Full-time or part-time is possible.
- You will have the opportunity to participate in sports and health programmes during working hours within a defined framework.
Qualification requirements:
WHAT COUNTS FOR US
- You have a category B driving licence and a category B Bundeswehr driving licence or are willing to acquire one. You agree to drive a service vehicle.
- You are committed to the free democratic basic order in the sense of the Basic Law through your entire behaviour.
- You are in good health and physically resilient, as the performance of your duties places the following demands on you:
- Working while standing or walking for up to 8 hours a day.
- Working under the influence of weather conditions (heat, cold, wet).
- Working on slopes with gradients of 35° - 45° for several hours per shift.
- Noise pollution with an average of 100 db (A), in individual cases up to 120 db (A).
- Lifting heavy loads of up to 30 kg several times a day, occasionally up to 50 kg.
- Working in forced postures (kneeling, overstretching, bending forward, etc.).
- Exposure to vibrations (whole body vibration / hand-arm vibration).
- You agree to take part in a medical pre-employment check-up.
REQUIRED
- You are authorised to operate a chainsaw.
- You have knowledge in handling small motorised equipment and previous experience in handling gardening and landscaping machines.
- You have previous experience in the above-mentioned work and are interested in nature and plants.
