Job description:

- You will be in charge of the site support service at the Bundeswehr sites in Bruchsal, Karlsruhe, Mannheim, Calw, Stuttgart, Neckarzimmern, Hardheim, Niederstetten, Walldürn and Müllheim. The sites include airfields, sports grounds, training areas, firing ranges, ammunition depots and security areas.
- You are responsible for the maintenance of properties with hazardous operating areas and high security requirements.
- By managing the horticultural and landscaping care, you ensure the functional maintenance and traffic safety of the open spaces.
- You will be responsible for managing the tree register and planning and organising the winter service.
- You will be involved in updating the usage and land cover plan in coordination with the military user and the maintenance and development plan in coordination with the Federal Forestry Office.
- You will be involved in construction measures for the outdoor facilities and advise the users of the military properties on questions of design and nature and landscape conservation.
- You will be responsible for ensuring occupational safety and economic efficiency in the area of site management.
- You will be prepared to travel regularly, possibly for several days, to the site.

- You will be employed on a permanent basis.
- You can expect an attractive salary, based on the collective agreement for the public sector. (TVöD)
- You will be categorised in pay group 13 TVöD.
- You will work full-time or part-time. Working from home is possible.

Qualification requirements:

WHAT COUNTS FOR US

- You have a university degree (Bachelor's, Diploma) in agricultural or horticultural sciences, forestry, landscape conservation or landscape planning/architecture.
- You have a class B driving licence and a class B Bundeswehr driving licence or are willing to obtain one. You agree to drive a service vehicle.
- You agree to take part in an [extended] security check.
- Successful completion of a level Ü2 security check is mandatory to fill the advertised position. Based on this requirement, you will initially be employed on a temporary basis if all other requirements are met. If you do not pass the security check, the employment relationship will not be terminated.
- You are committed to the free democratic basic order in the sense of the Basic Law through your entire behaviour.
- You have equal opportunities competence.

- You have knowledge and experience in the field of organisational processes, work planning and documentation as well as open space management, proven by at least one professional activity.
