Job description
We operate around 50 inpatient and day-care facilities as well as outpatient services for the integration or care of mentally ill and mentally disabled people and people with special social difficulties. Around 4,500 places are available in the facilities.
We are looking for the next possible date:
Head of Housekeeping (m/f/d)

Your tasks
- Guidance and management of the assigned housekeeping staff and organisation of the housekeeping areas (HW cleaning, serving kitchen and building services),
- Creation of duty rosters and target-oriented deployment of employees:
- Preparation of duty rosters and target-oriented deployment of employees, organisation of team meetings and training courses, ensuring compliance with the relevant hygiene guidelines, quality control and assurance,
- Assumption of the function of the building/food hygiene officer,
- Ensuring the functionality of the housekeeping equipment and facilities, purchasing, scheduling and warehousing of consumables, monitoring the timely delivery of supplies to the facilities, commissioning external services in coordination with the facility management,
- Collaboration on special tasks and projects on request.
Your profile
- Completed training in housekeeping or hotel management,
- Relevant professional experience in housekeeping, management experience an advantage,
- Sound knowledge of hygiene guidelines and experience in quality management,
- Understanding of business administration with a strong awareness of quality and costs, competence in guiding and leading employees:inside in a motivating and cooperative management style,
- Resource orientation, high degree of customer and service orientation
- Well-developed social skills, organisational talent, assertiveness,
- Enjoy working in a team, Very good written and spoken German and good communication skills even in difficult situations,
- Flexibility and organisational skills,
- Confident user knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and
- Class B/III driving licence.
Your working hours
21.0 hours per week (with the possibility of a later increase to full-time with 39.0 hours per week after one year of employment).
Your salary
