For over 300 years, the Engelke brothers' large mill in Hasede has stood for a constantly progressive food production operation for wheat flours. The mill has been owned and managed by the Engelke family since 1714. Today, the traditional company is successfully managed by Christof Engelke and his cousin Joachim Engelke and is one of the largest private mills in Germany.
