Employee (f/m/d) Housekeeper in a day care centre The DRK Kreisverband Herford-Land e.V. is responsible for six daycare centres in the district of Herford, 4 open all-day care centres and five fringe hour care centres at primary schools in Bünde For the DRK family centre Kita "Sommerwiese" in Vlotho we are looking for a part-time housekeeper (m/f/d) on 01.08.2026 (20.0 hours per week).
This is initially limited until 31.07.27. We are always interested in further employment.
At the FamZ Kita "Sommerwiese", a total of 210 children aged between four months and six years are cared for at 2 locations in 12 groups.

Your profile:

- Completed training in the field of housekeeping would be desirable
- Professional skills
- o Ability to work independently and on your own responsibility
- o Knowledge of healthy nutrition for children in the elementary sector
- o Preparation of approx. 220 meals a day, serving meals, delivering meals (a transport box weighs up to 25 kg)
- o Ordering food, checking incoming goods
- o Compliance with hygiene regulations and cleaning
- o Knowledge of how to use convection ovens and freezers
- - Social skills
- o Communication skills, Flexibility, ability to cooperate and work in a team
- o Appreciative interaction with children, parents and employees
- o Identification with the principles of the Red Cross
- - Car driving licence required
