We are a hoof care company in Winterberg-Altenfeld and are looking for several

employees (m/f/d) for the hoof care of cows with immediate effect.

We work nationwide, so you must be willing to travel. Expenses are of course covered.

The claws of a cow are the protective device of the underlying bones and tendons. In order for a cow to provide the required performance, it must be healthy, which includes hoof care.

This is a prerequisite:

- no fear of handling cows
- physical fitness
- manual dexterity
- FS and car are desirable (to reach the workplace in Winterberg-Altenfeld)
- willingness to travel
- willingness to work
- experience in the agricultural sector is not required

Tasks and activities compact (as a helper you will support the hoof trimmer in his work)
First of all, hoof trimmers determine the need for hoof trimming measures, check the length and shape of the hooves and examine the position of the legs and hooves. They plan the upcoming work processes, such as shortening the outer and inner claw or removing excess horn, and ensure that suitable tools are available. They then carry out functional hoof care, e.g. relieving pressure points and removing horn rot. If necessary, they also apply ointments and apply claw bandages. After completing the treatment, they document their work.
