As an interdisciplinary centre for parents of twins and triplets, extrakind accompanies multiple birth families nationwide from the special pregnancy to the school years. We are looking for a housekeeper/family carer to join our dedicated housekeeping team on a mini-job basis (with the option of permanent employment) as soon as possible. Come on board! And accompany the multiple parents in the Hanover region through the turbulent waters of their exciting start.

Your tasks with us:

- Through your housekeeping support, you create a healthy postpartum environment and help the mother to regenerate or get well

- You support the mother of multiples in the care and feeding of her at least two babies

- You prepare wholesome/breastfeeding-friendly meals for the family

- You support the mother in questions of the newly organised everyday life

- You help the mother to give birth, tips from the midwife and form an important interface

- You give the mother back some of her mobility and accompany her to doctor and therapy appointments or on walks, for example

Your profile:

- You have completed training in nursing, social care or home economics (comparable qualifications in educational science or occupational therapy are welcome)

- You are mobile and willing to visit and support families in the city and region of Hanover in their home environment

- You have excellent German language skills and ideally experience in family care or a comparable field of activity

- You are emphatic, you communicate sensitively and observe situations closely without patronising

- You maintain a balance between professional closeness and distance

- You have personal stability and a high level of resilience

- You are responsible and look forward to working on and with at least two infants and very young children

- You are willing to familiarise yourself intensively with the special topic of "multiples" and the special needs of the children
