Job description
As part of our certified training programmes, we prepare participants specifically for supporting and preparatory activities in kitchen businesses. The aim is to facilitate the entry into work through job-related qualification and practical instruction and to relieve existing skilled workers in the company.
Therefore, we are looking for a committed **Lecturer / Practical Instructor (m/f/d) **in part-time for the time being to impart specialist knowledge and provide practical instruction on a part-time basis for our Baldham location from June 2026.
Your tasks
Teaching theoretical and practical content in the field of kitchen assistance and basic domestic skills
Practical guidance of participants in preparatory and supporting activities in the kitchen
Teaching the basics in the areas of:
- Washing, cutting and preparing vegetables, salad and fruit
- Measuring and mixing ingredients
- Preparing, heating and simply serving food
- Assisting with marinades, sauces and dressings
- Operating food processors and kitchen appliances
- Preparing, storing and checking perishable food
- Tidying, washing up, cleaning and hygiene
- Promoting workplace standards such as reliability, Hygiene, diligence and teamwork
- Structured support for participants in the learning and practical process
- Documentation of attendance, learning progress and practical development
- Close cooperation with the course leader and the teaching team
Your profile
- Completed vocational training as a chef or housekeeper
- Several years of practical work experience in the kitchen, communal catering, Catering, home economics or comparable fields of work
- Experience in the guidance, instruction or qualification of adults is desirable
- Ideally you have the AEVO trainer qualification
- Enjoy conveying technical content in an understandable and practical way
- Patience, empathy and reliability in dealing with participants
- Ideally experience with people with language support needs or in working with heterogeneous groups
- Structured, structured, independent and team-oriented way of working
