Grünstempel e.V. is an inspection and certification body for organic farming and the organic food industry authorised by the Federal Agency for Agriculture and Food for the whole of Germany. We independently and objectively inspect and certify the requirements of the EU Organic Regulation in the following areas:

1. agricultural production, aquaculture and beekeeping
2. processing + B-AHV: gastronomy & catering, other out-of-home catering facilities
3. import
4. contract processing
5. processing of animal feed
6. trade

In addition, on request, we also check, among other things, compliance with private organic law.

We are currently looking for a full-time or part-time inspector for organic agriculture (30-40 hours/week)

Job description:

- Inspections of agricultural companies in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2018/848 (EU Organic Regulation)
- Processing/assessment in the above-mentioned areas
- Inspections in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2018/848 (EU Organic Regulation)
- Inspections in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2018/848 (EU Organic Regulation)
- Inspections in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2018/848 (EU Organic Regulation).
- Office organisational activities with the above-mentioned technical assignment

Required qualifications:

- Bachelor's, Master's or Diploma degree in the field of agricultural, horticultural or viticultural sciences or comparable courses of study AND at least 1 year of relevant professional experience (min. 1 year of relevant professional experience (internships can be recognised)
- OR a master craftsman's degree in the field of agricultural science or related professions
- OR completion of a two-year technical college in accordance with the KMK framework agreement on technical colleges (state-certified agricultural business economist, state-certified technician, state-certified business economist, each specialising in agriculture or related disciplines, completed vocational training in agriculture or related professions) AND at least three years of relevant professional experience. three years of relevant professional experience
- OR completion of a bachelor's, master's or diploma programme not related to agriculture AND at least 5 years of professional experience in agriculture, horticulture or viticulture

Your profile:

- Very good knowledge of written and spoken German
- Confident handling of MS Excel, Word, Outlook
- Reliable and independent way of working
- Quick and clear understanding of contexts

- Knowledge of foreign languages is an advantage (not a requirement!))
- Driving licence class B
- Willingness to travel within Germany
