The SRH Vocational Training Centre Cottbus specialises in vocational preparation and training for young people with health impairments. As part of the dual education system, young people are trained in 3 state-recognised, chamber-certified professions.

We are looking to expand our team at the Cottbus vocational training centre on 01.04.2026 a **Trainer for vocational preparation (f/m/d) for our professions in the field of health and services **part-time or full-time with 35 to 40 hours per week. The position is open-ended.

Your role:

- You will support, advise and motivate our young participants in their vocational orientation by teaching basic technical skills and abilities, primarily in the occupational groups of the health and services sector.
- You will regularly document and assess the results in the in-house documentation systems for the assigned participants as a matter of course.
- You value close cooperation with our colleagues from the respective specialist teams and jointly create and implement individual support planning.
- You are open to the implementation of support and remedial teaching (usually basic maths and basic German) according to the individual requirements of our participants.
- You always support our participants in the organisation of internships and act as a contact person for our participants during the internships and company training phases.

Your profile:

- You have successfully completed vocational training, preferably in the field of nursing or home economics or a university degree in nursing or home economics or in another comparable vocational training programme.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in the above-mentioned professional field rounds off your profile.
- You enjoy imparting general knowledge on social and economic topics.
- Ideally, you already have an additional qualification in rehabilitation education or a willingness to undertake further training.
- Strong social skills, a high level of commitment and empathy in dealing with our participants and good networking skills to establish and maintain contacts and cooperation partners come easily to you
