Your place of work
The Johanniter intensive educational residential group in Gronau has eight places available for children aged 13 and over, who find themselves in an exceptionally problematic, subjectively overwhelming life situation and for whom it is currently not possible to continue living in the family according to the assessment of those involved in the educational process. Children and young people who have already had a history of failure in other youth welfare programmes and who have hardly had the opportunity to experience stable relationships and emotional security in their lives have also found a home in the shared home. The Johanniter team in Gronau is made up of pedagogues (m/f/d), social workers (m/f/d) and educators (m/f/d) who have a wide range of experience from different fields of work with highly stressed children and young people. The aim of our work is to provide children and young people with the help and support they need to develop and realise alternative life plans. In this way, we strengthen them so that they can confidently position themselves outside their troubled (and stressful) environments and "scenes" in the future!
