Job description
We are currently looking for a
state-recognised housekeeper or comparable qualification (m/f/d)
part-time (20 hours/week)
to join our team in the Bramfeld day group
The Bramfeld day group is located in the middle of a housing estate in Bramfeld in the north-east of Hamburg. Up to eight children between the ages of 6 and 12 receive part-time inpatient and intensive educational support there - usually after school until late afternoon.
Our facility offers a holistic and protected place of learning for children and is a reliable point of reference and contact point for their families. A central part of our everyday life is lunch together - not just as a meal, but as a valuable social moment.
They organise the daily housekeeping routine for the children and the educational staff, make the daily lunch possible with freshly cooked meals, organise the processes in the kitchen, ensure cleanliness and thus become an essential part of the day group.
Your area of responsibility:
- Organising kitchen procedures
- Purchasing food, cleaning materials and work equipment
- Organising supplies
- Keeping a housekeeping book and accounting for household money
- Preparing meals according to current nutritional standards, taking into account individual necessities.
- Culinary organisation of parties
- Household cleaning
You have the following skills:
Your qualification: State-approved housekeeper or comparable qualification
Mobility: Class B driving licence
Your skills: You have a lot of prudence, planning skills and a big heart for a household full of variety. You can deal with people in an empathetic and appreciative manner and are aware of their life situation, which is often characterised by family, psychological or material burdens. You can involve the children and families in processes and thus teach them everyday skills.
Personal requirements:
Cordiality, respect and the active creation of a professional closeness in the care contact. You like to take responsibility and are flexible. You are good at managing a large household and communicating life skills.
