For our LADR central laboratory Dr Kramer & Kollegen in **Geesthacht near Hamburg we are looking for a (m/f/d)

biological-technical assistant (BTA), dairy laboratory technician or biology laboratory technician

LADR Laborverbund Dr. Kramer & Kollegen (www.LADR.de (http://www.ladr.de/) ) is a physician-led group of specialist laboratories with a medical tradition dating back over 80 years. Around 4,000 employees work in and around the group's 19 specialist laboratories and facilities throughout Germany. Every day, the LADR laboratories supply over 20,000 doctors in private practice and around 400 clinics with the full range of modern laboratory diagnostics.

Your tasks at a glance

As a member of a motivated team, you will be responsible for processing food samples for microbiological analysis, such as

- Carrying out procedures to detect pathogenic bacteria
- Carrying out casting and counting procedures to detect spoilage microorganisms
- Identifying microorganisms - microscopically, biochemically, molecular biologically and using MALDI TOF MS
- Virus analysis - hepatitis A, E and noroviruses
- Detecting food allergens using ELISA
- Working with the laboratory IT system LIS.LIMS

The work is carried out in a three-shift system between 5:30 am - 6:00 pm.
Once a month there is a weekend shift.

What you need

- You have completed training as a biological-technical assistant (m/f/d), dairy laboratory assistant (m/f/d), biology laboratory assistant (m/f/d) or a similar qualification.
- You have already gained initial professional experience in microbiology/food analysis.
- You are a team player with strong communication skills and are willing to work in shifts.
- You have a high sense of responsibility.
