Job description
With a love of cheese, the milk from our partner farms and the basis of traditional knowledge, the Holtsee cheese dairy in the heart of Schleswig-Holstein produces unique cheeses with around 125 employees. We consciously focus on genuine craftsmanship in order to retain the uniqueness of our cheeses. We process 120 million kg of milk into cheese every year. We obtain our milk from regional milk producers. Our team is currently looking for reinforcement as:

Production employee (m/f/d) in the cheese dairy, ripening cellar and packaging in a fully continuous 3-shift system

Your tasks:

- In the cheese dairy: production of artisan cheese wheels, operation of automatic cheese production systems and the salt bath systems
- In the ripening cellar: Care of naturally matured cheese specialities, operation of automatic cheese care and washing equipment
- In the packaging department: packaging, making up and preparing cheese for dispatch as well as storage activities
- Cleaning and care of work equipment, machines and the surrounding area as well as supporting other departments and carrying out all activities as specified by the shift or department manager
- In the cheese cellar: cleaning and care of work equipment, machines and the surrounding area as well as supporting other departments and carrying out all activities as specified by the shift or department manager. Department manager
- Compliance with hygiene, quality and occupational safety regulations as well as the requirements of customer and certification systems

Your profile:

- Ideally completed vocational training
- Professional experience in a food company or in production is desirable
- Willingness to work shifts in a 3-shift system
- Physical resilience
- Good understanding of hygiene
- Ability to work in a team and mobility
