With a love of cheese, the milk from our partner farms and the basis of traditional knowledge, the Holtsee cheese dairy in the heart of Schleswig-Holstein produces unique cheeses with around 125 employees. We consciously focus on genuine craftsmanship in order to preserve the uniqueness of our cheeses. We process around 130 million kg of milk into cheese every year. We obtain our milk from regional milk producers. Our team is currently looking for reinforcement as:

Head of Packaging and Warehouse (packing centre)

The packing centre is responsible for packaging our cheese specialities into pieces, bars and cones as well as for packaging, labelling, palletising, storing and loading the cheese products. The department is also responsible for warehousing and the operational planning of all packaging materials and various consumables.

Your tasks:

- Planning and organisation of a smooth production process
- Responsible for compliance with the applicable hygiene regulations such as HACCP and IFS and membership of the HACCP team
- Management of the employees in the area of responsibility with currently approx. 30 employees and 3 team leaders as well as seasonal and temporary workers
- Preparation of holiday and shift planning for the department
- Participation in production meetings and presentation of KPI's of the area of responsibility, CIP in the area of responsibility
- Preparation of production reports, cooperation in case of deviations, complaints and in audits, preparation and processing of correction and action plans; Shoop-Floor-Management
- Key user in the new ERP system CSB
- Close cooperation with all departments of the company
- Further development of the department, optimisation of process flows v.especially the logistical processes in production such as the transport of packaging to the lines / supply chain in the plant
- Reporting line to the plant management

Your profile:

- Completed training as a dairy master (m/f/d) or HSA in food science or food technology
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a medium-sized food company in the area of production
- Several years of experience in the management of production employees
- Experience with internal production logistics and key figures
- Experience in the management of production employees
