We are a modern mixed farm near Cottbus. In addition to primary production, we run a farm shop and a company restaurant where we offer our products.
In order to offer insights into the diversity of different habitats and ecological relationships in the processes of nature, we take part in the "Green Classroom" initiative. The recultivation of mining areas is an important concern for us. In addition to preserving nature in the mining region, this also creates new arable land for agriculture.
We currently manage 1,000 hectares of agricultural land and 120 hectares of natural
grassland.

We are looking for an animal farmer (m/f/d) or career changer (m/f/d) with a background in agriculture to start as soon as possible. The employment is full-time and partly in shifts.

Scope of duties:

- Feeding the dairy cows/weaners/fattening animals using a feed mixer wagon (no shift system)
- Working in shifts (early/late shift) for manure removal, driving or milking
- Carrying out other daily tasks such as moving cattle, cleaning calf pens, milking systems, etc.

Requirements:

- Completed training as an animal farmer or career changer. Training as an animal farmer or career changer with professional experience
- independent work
- reliable
- a class B driving licence is not necessary but an advantage
