Technical Administrator (m/f/d) for the area of green space management
Full-time, initially limited to 2 years
The wine, sparkling wine and rose town of Eltville am Rhein is the oldest and largest town in the Rheingau in Hesse in terms of population. The city administration team in Eltville is committed to future-proof public services and sustainable development. The town was honoured with the German Sustainability Award 2021 for this. In this varied position, you will take responsibility for the planning, implementation and maintenance of municipal outdoor facilities and actively contribute to the sustainable development of the townscape.
We offer:
- a varied and responsible, temporary full-time position with a great deal of creative freedom and remuneration depending on qualifications and personal requirements up to EG 10 TVöD VKA (depending on professional experience, currently possible gross monthly salary range: 3.658.61 EUR - 5,753.35 EUR) plus all benefits customary in the public sector, such as special annual payment, an attractive company pension scheme through the supplementary pension fund (ZVK) and up to 30 days holiday plus additional days off. The advertised position is initially limited to a period of 2 years, with the option of being made permanent.

Your profile:
- You have completed training as a technician or master craftsman in the field of gardening and landscaping or have completed a bachelor's degree in gardening and landscaping
- You have relevant professional experience in gardening and landscaping, ideally in site management
- You have knowledge of the relevant laws, standards and technical contract conditions
- You are experienced in using GIS applications (e.g. Caigos)

- You are in possession of a class B driving licence
- You are confident in using MS Office
Your main tasks:
- Project management/principal function
1. Independent management and coordination of open space planning and civil engineering projects
2. Construction supervision to ensure quality, costs and deadlines
- Property management of outdoor facilities
1. Tendering, awarding and coordination of services in gardening and landscaping (annual contracts and individual measures)
2. Development and maintenance of digital green space data to support the company's own operations
3. Participation in the maintenance and further development of the green space register
- Citizen communication and committee work
1. Preparation of technical statements and submissions for political committees
2. Processing of citizen enquiries and participation in public relations work
