YOUR WORK ENVIRONMENT

The lower nature conservation authority performs all tasks that serve to protect and preserve biodiversity, the functioning of the ecosystem and landscape conservation. The basis for these tasks can be found in the Federal Nature Conservation Act and the Hessian Nature Conservation Act. The activities are to be carried out in outdoor areas as well as in populated areas.

YOUR TASKS

- You are responsible for monitoring and controlling public spaces, especially outdoor areas, with regard to possible interventions in accordance with nature conservation law.
- You are responsible for monitoring the protected areas in the city of Hanau (nature conservation areas, landscape conservation areas, etc.).
- You carry out inspections and monitoring with regard to the city's nature conservation statutes (tree protection statutes, compulsory leash statutes, etc.).
- You will be involved in towing measures (if required), the implementation of traffic control measures and stopping motor vehicles, as well as during parades and demonstrations.
- In the future, it is intended that you will fully process simple applications for tree felling.

YOUR PROFILE

- Successfully completed vocational training related to environmental protection and nature conservation, e.g. gardener, landscape gardener, etc.
- Completed special course to become a public order officer or willingness to participate in this special course. willingness to participate in this special course
- Interest in nature conservation issues
- Knowledge of arboriculture
- Confident, engaging manner
- Independent and goal-oriented working style
