YOUR WORK ENVIRONMENT

The Eigenbetrieb Hanau Infrastruktur Service with its approx. 360 employees, includes the green spaces department, the traffic and road management, waste management and street cleaning, wastewater disposal and flood protection, workshop and vehicle fleet, construction execution and supervision, commercial services and administration as well as cemeteries and crematorium. The Green Spaces department is responsible for the maintenance and development of approx. 340 hectares of green spaces on roads, green areas at children's playgrounds, daycare centres, schools, public buildings and parks.

YOUR TASKS

- **Maintenance of facilities: **You will be responsible for general and high-quality green space maintenance throughout the city centre as part of a crew.
- **Planting work: **You will plant and maintain challenging shrub beds, alternate plantings, roses and woody plants with professional skill.
- **Area management: **You will establish lawn and meadow areas and maintain them with hand-held as well as modern mowers.
- Cityscape maintenance: your work will ensure that the central squares and parks have a clean and aesthetically pleasing appearance.
- Special services: You will be deployed in winter and special services, including outside regular working hours.

YOUR PROFILE

- Qualifications: Completed training as a gardener (preferably specialising in landscaping, tree nursery or perennial gardening).
- Specialist knowledge: Experience in handling all tools and machinery commonly used in gardening and landscaping.
- Working style: You work independently, sustainably and have high standards for the quality and aesthetics of your results.
- **Soft Skills: **Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour towards citizens as well as the ability to work in a team and under pressure.
- **Mobility: **Category B/BE driving licence is mandatory (category C/C1 desirable).
